スペイン 2年[TITLE]When I came to this class, I thought “What? Is this an English class?' and I thought “Oh, I have to study hard…' But after listening to the contents and schedule of this class I’m very interested in participating. And the speeches of all the teachers were so interesting. I felt all the teachers are enjoying their life and their job. Thanks.
英文 2年[TITLE]It is very unusual for me to listen to lectures in English enterely, so before this class I was a little nervous whether I could understand the teachers’ English. However, the contents of the three teachers’ lectures were interesting and I could understand most of their speaking. Especially Edgar’s lecture was interesting. I’d love to listen to more about Appalachia and if I have any chance, I want to go there. Thank you and I’m really looking forward to studying next week.

I’m interested in translators. A translator has a smile, a lot of knowledge, and thinks of others. That is very good. I’m happy to know that translators need knowledge of their own country. I will study Japanese culture! Thank you!
英米 4年[TITLE] IntroductionAll the three teachers who gave speeches were new to me, but I could know about each teacher. Especially I liked the presentation of Mr. Edmunds, because he has many hobbies. I liked the paintings of birds. I was also impressed by his experience of visiting all forty-seven prefectures in Japan. I want to do it in the future.

But I thought that I should also learn Japanese culture after hearing Ms. Nakayama’s speech. I have too little knowledge about Japanese. I will learn not only British and American culture but also Japanese culture.
情報 1年[TITLE] What I Thought about Mr. Edmonds’ SpeechI think that when we give a speech, we have to speak clearly and slowly. Because listeners haven’t known about the content of speech, they can’t understand if we speak too fast. His way of giving a speech was very nice. He always speaks in a friendly way. I became interested in what he said during his speech. So when I give a speech, I’ll do just like him.
英文 4年[TITLE] Some Keys to My FutureWhen I was listening to Maiko’s story today, I agreed with her feelings several times. And then, I also got interested in her job as a guide interpreter. I always feel I have to know about Japan more as Japanese every time I go traveling abroad. To learn more about Japan is one of my aims at the moment. I’ve been thinking that I’d like to work between Japan and other countries someday. So she gave me some keys to my future plan and I really appreciate it.
英米 1年[TITLE] To Make My Dream Come TrueMs. Nakayama talked about her job and what we should do to make our dreams come true. I noticed how my knowledge of Japan was poor. If foreign visitors ask me about Japanese history, I won’t be able to answer completely. (I opted for world history when I was a high school student.) She says, “It is important for you to prepare for your dream and work hard.' I want to work at the airport, so I decided to study English and Japanese culture. I want to talk about myself in English or another language at my job interview.
フランス 3年[TITLE] IntroductionI have known a little about "ballads" , but Edgar's story was so interesting. And the song “King Kong Kitchie Kitchie Kimeo' was funny. Thank you! I have no idea for my future yet, but the story of “tsuyaku annaishi (guide interpreter)' was so interesting for me. I also like to speak with many foreign people, so I want to use English and French for my future job. And today, I found that I had to study about Japan---Japanese history and culture. Today, I envied those who can speak English or many other foreign languages smoothly. Thank you for your class!
情報 １年[TITLE] European SettlersI loved to hear about European settlers in Appalachia. I want to see square dancing and listen to story telling someday. I was very surprised to hear that ballads originated in Appalachia. I thought it wonderful that the music had been passed on to the children.

But today I listened to Mrs.Nakayama's lecture and I got the courage to make efforts to be a tour conductor. However it is very difficult. So, today I received a very good impetus. I don't give up to make my dream come true.

Iwent to Canada this summer, and made many friends from all over the world. They asked me about Japanese culture. But I couldn't explain it, becasuse I knew nothing about our culture! So, her speech encourages me. Thanks for speech.

I want to listen more. it is important for the learners of foreign languages like us to study about other things except for the language. I want to study about education in addition to Spanish, and I want to work as a teacher using Spanish! Maiko is so cool! So fantastic! The hobby of Rob! So nice!! I enjoyed today's speeches from them.
国際 1年[TITLE]IntroductionBefore this class, I had a naive thought because I like English, but I can't listen well. However, Mr.Pope's talk was very understandable, and his singing was beautiful!! When I heard his speech, I came to enjoy this class. Mrs.Nakayama's talk was very useful. Through this speech, I thought "Don't be afraid." I make it a rule to try and have courages. The last Robert's talk was very very funny. I also like to watch nature, so I want to talk with him someday! Through this class, I'll become more of an English lover!!
