So, I'm going to get him to design my magnificent house in the future when I get married with someone, because someday a Prince Charming riding a white horse is going to come to take me away. I have never thought of building my own house for myself, though I have been interested in cooking meals for myself. For example, we can buy many cans of pasta sauce, but instead of them, I'd like to make my own sauce which nobody else can make the same way. I guess it's kind of D.I.Y., isn't it? I'll do it myself in my favorite area.

Even though it's cheaper to build their own house by themselves than to order some company to do it, most people couldn't decide to start it. He said it's good to make a big kitchen because people spend most of the time there. I think so too. If I have children, I want to cook with my children and my wife. I was impressed by your words: "If you build a house, you should spend much money to make the kitchen." So, I decided to do that because I want to enjoy cooking.

ドイツ 3年[TITLE]I'm so surprised and amazed that we could actually build our own house by ourselves. My family was interested in building our own house because it got some damage by a typhoon this year. I really want to tell my parents that we shouldn't give up so easily. I'm not sure if we will actually build. Although it's possible for us to do, I can imagine it'll be hard work. My parents and I think it wonderful to make something by our hands, and also it will give us some energy to start something new.

At first when I heard that he built a house himself, I assumed that he designed it and asked somebody else to construct it. So, I was really surprised. I thought about myself and I sometimes didn't try something when I thought those were difficult. But right now, I'm looking for a job and it's one of the turning points in my life. Besides I was deeply impressed with his message -"You should do what you want to do!!" I am going to study abroad not for my future, but for my hobby. People around me ask me, "Why will you go there?" "Your studying abroad makes sense for your future?" So I have always thought "My selection is wrong?" I shoundn't do it?" Therefore I was cheered up by his speech today!

I was very much moved by these words. We can lead our life only one time so we shouldn't waste our time and we should do what we really want to do so as not to regret it someday.
英米 2年[TITLE]When I saw his text paper, I thoght today's speech is difficult for me to understand. But!! He was a very interesting man! and his jokes were funny!! He showed us his house. It is a wonderful house. His pets were so cute. I love them. If I build my house with my husband in the future, I would built a European house like his house. His speech and pictures were beneficial for me! Thank you for your speech.
英文 2年[TITLE]NICK'S HOUSEI'd thought it was impossible to build my own house from start to finish. I think there are many advantages in building my own house. First, it's kind to nature to build a house on my own. When I build a house, I can use natural materials. It seems bad for nature apparently to cut down trees. but I think it's worse to use chemical materials. In addition, I can live more comfortably if I build my house on my own. I have no patience with building a house and I don't want to rob carpenters of their works, so maybe I will not try to build my house. But I agree with the idea that we can do anything because we can read and write. Books also make our lives comfortable.
