国際 1年[TITLE]I knew that the legacy of the war still remains in East Asia even though it was gradually overcome in Europe. I think it is a big issue. It is bad for our future to be obsessive about the history of the past. We should cooperate with many countries to make a good world. Now, we should change our way of thinking.
英文 2年[TITLE]The Role of Japan in the WorldThere are many roles of Japan in the world. Moreover, I think prefectures in Japan also have roles for global relations. They don't need to be direct. Especially, Aichi can do many things that are related to immigration because it has the most immigrants in Japan. We should think about it as members of Aichi.

But I think it’s time that Japan should exercise leadership in East Asia for multilateralism.
英米 1年[TITLE]It's time to get reconciliation completed and take the leadership! As Mr.Hook said, we didn’t have an identity as a member of Asia. This is because we live in an island and Japan has focused on domestic economic growth. However, I think Japanese are conscious of being Asian more than before. I think we should have an identity as Asian. So, at first, we need to realize reconciliation with Asian countries. Then, we build some communities. I think Japan should take the leadership in such areas as environment and nuclear weapons.
Although the relationship with US is difficult, we can take the leadership in some situations.
英米 2年[TITLE]I think there are a lot of difficulties to be independent from the US. If the US soldiers in Okinawa went back to US, there would be nobody to defend Japan. However, as Mr.Hook said, it is also a problem for US soldiers to stay at Okinawa because some Japanese people are threatened by them. I think it is a big problem to discuss thoroughly.

I can understand that other countries criticize about it, but I don’t want to increase the risk of war. I don’t think Japan should have a war potential. I think we have to play a role for world peace without one.

If I had knowledge, I would understand and sympathize with him. I wonder whether it is a good thing that Japan develops only economic sides. I think what we should do for Asian countries is to know these countries and think what we can do.

For example, Japan and China have issues on their mutual relationship. The problem with the legacy of the war is not easy to solve. However, it is important to reinforce a community of Asia. Each country in Asia needs to address political and economic activities as a community of Asia and develop its international system.

I got to know for the first time that the vibrator is like a very small wheel and the factory for that is in Nagoya. I admire again that Japnese technology is wonderful.
国際関係 1年[TITLE]The Cold War was caused by the U.S and the Soviet Union. Due to the legacy of the war, many regions were damaged. I think multilateralism is very important all over the world. Different countries should cooperate with each other for peace. He said Japan needs to overcome the war's damage. I think so too. And Japan should inform other countries about nuclear disarmament as being the only county in the world that has endured atomic bombings.
中国 1年[TITLE]Really?I'm interested in the historical fact that since the Cold War bilateralism changed into multilateralism in Europe. This suggests the same change in East Asia. but I don't think so. I think Europeans share almost the same sense of value: religion, human rights and so on. But the countries in East Asia don't. East Asia should unite, but the way countries unite isn't exacetly the same.

I think Japan has been the leader of Asia up to now but recently China is rapidlygrowing, so the position of Japan is at risk. Although there is some legacy of the war between Japan and other Asian countries, I think we need to overcome it, and join hands, and it would be great if Asian countries build the win-win relationship. I had a good time to hear various things related to Japan.

But I thought that Europe has its own European identity and acts on the basis of it, so we Asian countries have to act on the basis of Asian identity. Don't only imitate Europe. I asked the question about what the role of prefectures is and I understood it: The contribution to people who come to Japan to work.
