I was impressed by very detailed expressions of humans. I was surprised that some people registered sadness from the face but other people didn't. I realized expresions of humans are very complex. Even though they are complex, she expressed them very sensitivery. I would like to admire the works with some people and discuss about what we can register from them.

Thank you for the presentation. At first, the sculptures looked very scary for me. But next, after looking at the pictures of the process to make a work, I felt that it's amazing! and I was surprized that ceramics can be like that. I thougt that there's a lot more to it than I'd think in "Arts".

I used to think arts was too difficult for me and I couldn't understand what the people wanted to express. However, I realized I just decided art was difficult. I also realized what I feel from the arts is important. I had spiritual feeling from Arina's work. When I closed my eyes, my image is my impression came to me. She made art really close to me. Now I want to see her other works and want to know what I feel.

Today's speaker's works are very original. I felt pleasant when I saw see no evil, say no evil, hear no evil. She said that she didn't like to refer to other manuals. She made her works relying upon ideas in her head. I think this way helps her to make good works. I truely want to see her works.

When I saw her works, I felt something scarey. Her works are based on an Astrolabe, Dead She Scrolls, etc. I studied world history when I went to high school, but it was just focused on a university entrance examination. So I find something interesting in art from world history. There are a lot of things that I don't know.

I found Frank Lloyd Wright was influenced by many people, countries and cultures, especially Japan. I didn't know some famous Japanese people such as Hiroshige influenced many famous overseas artists. I think they felt novelty or originality about Ukiyo-e. I thought the important thing in art is mixing a lot of cultures and ideas to make original works.

I didn't know ceramics can be transformed into such flexible figures. It could represent paper, skin and so on. Until today I've believed that the material was only for dishes; however, she told us various possibilities of it. Absence sometimes indicates essence. I could imagine many movements of legs and arms through her work. Thank you so much Ms. Ailincai!

I really enjoyed your speech. I have no knowledge or information about the field of art, so it was very new for me. I think your works are great! I got energy from you and your works. To express yourself is wonderful. I want to follow your act. Thank you.

Thank you for your interesting speech. I was so excited. I like art and artistic things. I like the sculptures of “see no evil, say no evil and hear no evil." I think these are very cruel, violent and grotesque, but I feel something artistic. I wonder why I felt so. But I like these sculptures. I always think why an artist can make such a thing. Ordinary people can NOT imagine or make these things. Artists have the abilities that I don't have. They can think outside the box. They can go beyond the stereotype easily. It's not easy for me to think outside the box. But I will gain the ability to think that way one day. And, if I have a chance, I want to visit a lot of museums.

The art of clothes (only clothes, no human body) was very impressive. I feel it is a figure of human's strong demand for everything. The picture of making person's shape was interesting. While making this, a model person may be distressed being hot, choked, immobile and so on. However, I want to try this model because my shape would become a very interesting art. Also, I thought it was a very interesting idea that a man held his own head.

I couldn't understand today's speech very much, but from Ms. Ailincai's pictures I got to know her work. In these pictures, there are many sculptures. They were such fun and made me think it over. My imagination grew! I want to see her arts, so I'll visit Seto. And if I had an opportunity, I would go to Canada and visit the museum!

I was surprised at her works. I thought she had her own world. I' ve never thought about the inside of our body. Almost all of her works which are human are missing part of the body, so we can imagine what's inside of the human body. And also, when she talked about her work, she looked very happy and she had pride in her work, so I want to be a person like her.

At first I felt something like fear when I looked at her works because they're so real, even though they don't have their head and other body parts. "They seem like they're almost starting to move." that's the first impression I got. However, after I heard her stories behind each work, I thought these are so spiritual and they might have their own heart talking to us. I want to see her works with my own eyes someday.

I was surprised at first that they are very realistic works. But in the latter half of the lecture, we could see how to make them. It seems that this work is so hard! The model person mustn't move at all, and the maker must be careful not to cut the model person! The art which doesn't have a body (only clothes!) is amazing for me, because I felt that it has a body and feelings, as she said.

Ms. Alincai is a fantastic artist. She showed us her works and explained about body casting technique. Her works were unique and spiritual. I had never known that it takes a long time to do body casting. Maybe it will be difficult to try not to move, but I wanted to be a model. If I could see a work which was copied from my body, I'd feel strange. Her technique was so effective, so I'd like to visit a museum and see her works more.

I've never seen a ceramic artist before. I thought it was a little strange because body casting was like a cicada's cast-off skin. I wondered how long it took altogether to make a human's body cast. Besides, I think it is good for the memory of someone's life, or someone's record of life.
