[TITLE] My Feeling
Your story is easy to understand. I am starting to forget the delight of studying English. But, your speech made me remember it. I like to read aloud too. I want to get better pronunciation. And the last story, group talking was really great! It has all the language skills. I want to try it. I hope that New Developments in Curriculum Revision is a success. If I get a chance to listening to your speech again, I want to go and listen! Thank you!

I haven't doubted some things in movies, books and other things in English, but today, I understand we can always learn something new by being critical. So I want to try to be so and I want to ask questions and discuss things making questions by using different words from texts and books develops our English skills. Now I read an English book, Matilda for kids. So I want to try to read more difficult books in the near future.

It's very hard to teach something to someone. For teaching something, a profound understanding is indispensable. I also consider the learner's purpose and I have to think about the purpose, whether the level of explanation and teaching materials are suitable for the learners, etc. And I have to keep studying. And it's an important work for the teacher to make an atmosphere where learners can speak and ask some questions.

I don't have to fear making mistakes. This is because I can learn something important from them. Importantly, I'm a student now, so it's the time for trying many things, make mistakes and reflect upon them and make a new aim to achieve it, I think.

I had a pretty good time and the lecture is very interesting. At the beginning of the lecture, Mr. Niisato talked to us about the difference of seeing from different angles. Actually I'm from Toyama and my home town is on the Western side. So my thinking way is on the western side of Japan as Mr. Niisato said. It was funny, because I've never thought about it.

Then, about ways to learn English, I was a practice teacher for three weeks and I had classes with an ELT several times. It was very difficult to make a real communicative class for the students. I mean my activities weren't like real situations. I want to try to think about communicative activities more!

[TITLE] Various Ways to Learn English
I think recently the number of students who can't speak clear Japanese or can't use Keigo are increasing. I think this phenomenon is so dangerous, because the Mother Tongue is the basis of culture. I think the government should emphasize Japanese education during elementary school.

I think, the one reason I become to study English is because I met a good English teacher and ELT when I was in junior high school. So if many of the teachers who teach English were like Mr. Niisato, a lot of students would be attracted by English. I also think every English skill is really important and required to become an English speaker so all skills should be emphasized as Mr. Niisato said. There will be a good future for young students in learning English.

P.S. Do you know why people go crazy when they see the moon? It's because 60% of the human body is made from water and between the moon and water there is power which works between the two subjects. "Inryoku" (Gravitation), in Japanese. So on a full moon day, many kids are born and many crimes happen!

It's quite interesting that there are the differences of what color the Sun is and what the impression of the full moon is between Japanese and other nations. I was not interested in teaching English to someone but after this lecture, I got interested in it. I think I can get more knowledge by teaching and I can realize what I'm not good at and what skills I'm short of.

It was a really interesting lecture. Thank you very much!

Today, I know that the color of moon is blue in Arabia for the first time. If I go to the bank in a foreign country, I would also say "Real money, please", same as Mr. Niisato. In elementary school, the students are going to study English. If this is successful, good English users will increase. In a large group, people are likely to be shy and lose their confidence. But, in a small group, they are active and try to positively participate in their work. I agree with his opinion.

[TITLE] Make Mistakes with Courage!
Today, one sentence I caught is that "knowing never ends in learning English." And I also caught "practice is not the end of one's learning." So, I thought I have to speak in English many times, and make mistakes with redoubled courage!! We can learn something new from only mistakes. And maybe I remember the word "procrastination" properly today, so this lecture became a good opportunity for me, too! ^_^

It's been great time to listen to his speech. He mentioned making mistakes was one of the best ways to learn and I think that not being afraid of making mistakes is also important. I believe we can improve our English by having conversation with many people.

Prof. Niisato gave an energetic and persuasive lecture. It was too bad that the time was limited. The beginning warm up was very interesting. Yes, there are different ways to see a thing. I will look at things not only one way but also some other ways to expand my idea and way of thinking.

[TITLE] Various Ways to Learn English
I have a friend who is always talking to herself in English. Maybe that's why she speaks English quite well even though she has never been abroad. I came to realize this after listening to Mr. Niisato's speech, and I believe that keeping talking is one of the best ways to learn a language. So, from now, I will start talking to myself in English and Spanish! (I'm studying Spanish, too.) Anyway, I enjoyed Mr. Niisato's lecture today. I want to speak to him someday!

Mr. Niisato's lecture was very interesting and full of humor. I enjoyed it so much. I teach as a tutor and always think about a good way for my student to enjoy studying. Although Mr. Niisato's method was meant for teaching a class of 40 students, I thought it was very creative! In his lecture today, I thought that to be humorous and creative was important.

[TITLE] Learning Many New Things!
I was very interested in the different colors of the sun in many countries. The sun gives many different impressions to people all over the world. (It could be even "dangerous" sometimes!) I think it is important for us to remember this: "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." Also, what Mr. Niisato's said was impressive: "I'm a teacher now, but I learn many things everyday." That's very important. I thank Mr. Niisato for his very interesting lecture. It's too bad that we had such a little time for his lecture.

The introduction of Mr. Niisato's lecture was very impressive for me. The story of the sun and the moon was very interesting and it must have attracted not only me but also everyone in this classroom. I thought it was important to make it a habit to begin your speech with some interesting stories if you want to be a "good" teacher. Otherwise, your students will start ignoring you even though you teach.

[TITLE] Various Ways to Learn English
This lecture was worth listening to for me because my dream is to be an English teacher. I think English education today has a lot of problems. Even though they have graduated from high school, students are rarely able to speak English well. I hope that more people in Japan will get to speak English well someday by the curriculum revision.
