But, Mr. Egawa's lecture encouraged me a lot. I liked his advice to take notes and make one's own dictionary and also to set a date to complete a goal. These days I was getting very lazy, but I want to do this from today!

However, he mentioned the food at the party; there are many people who can't have pork or beer because of their religious reason and in this case, chicken is the safest to serve to them. Second, I was impressed by his career---especially the number of places where he had worked. Finally, I learned what I should do from now.Overall, his speech reminded me of the time when I worked at Marriot Hotel in L.A. I freaked out at first facing many difficulties, but at the same time, I learned some important things. He just mentioned the same things I learned: for example, thoroughness, flexibility, broad-minded approach, and understanding for difference. Now I realized those things could be my strength. Also, I got some tips such as reading newspapers to improve my weak points.
