[TITLE] Everything Is Up to Me
I was quite impressed with the term "Taking the Opportunity." It's not such a special phrase, but I think I've failed to get lots of chances to change and go beyond myself. I think she has made the opportunities, not only taken them. I realize that everything is up to me. I think I should try to do anything however old I am.

[TITLE] Life Gives Us Challenges and Opportunities
Life gives us challenges and opportunities. That's right. We are surrounded by many kinds of challenges and opportunities. I want to make the most of them (without missing them) and develop myself as a person.

[TITLE] My Challenge
My dream is to become an interpreter, but I have no information about it yet. By hearing today's lecture, I realized that I wasted all my time doing nothing. From now on, I want to do my best in studying English and research about it. I know that it's going to be hard work, but I want to read many books and keep on challenging more difficult things in English. Now I found my way to become an interpreter. I hope to do my best in everything.

[TITLE] To Expose Myself to Opportunities
I had a very good feeling toward Ms. Tsuji because I'm just the way she used to be: I'm not good at expressing my idea in public especially when there are a lot of people. I completely understand how she felt when she was a school girl and I admire how she overcame it. I realized I should attempt to challenge new things and be willing to take opportunities.

[TITLE] The Word That Will Stay with Me
People tell me many times that I should enjoy university life and study hard, Otherwise, I'll regret it in the future. However, I've been too lazy to study and come to college these days. But today, I realized that I was wasting my precious time and chances.

My English teacher once said to me almost the same thing as Ms. Tsuji's friend had told her: "You'll never know what's going to happen if you don't even try it." I think I should remember this word for a long time to come.

[TITLE] Start with What Interests You
Today, I learned that starting with something you are interested in motivates you effectively. When we think about what we don't like, your motivation will decline. Once you are into it, however, I think "new doors will be opened" and you can have a different point of view. This applies to all things and all fields. Today's lecture is a wonderful prompt for me to learn more! Thanks!!

[TITLE] Challenges and Opportunities
It was very interesting to hear about her challenges and how she's been taking opportunities up until today. I'm very interested in interpreting, so her advice will be very helpful when I plan my future. Also, I thought the way she talked was very friendly and attractive. It makes me believe that personality plays a big role in succeeding in one's career.

[TITLE] Make Good Friends :) :)
My impression of Ms. Lillian Tsuji, is that she is a really cheerful person. In her presentation, she repeated we need to make good friends and need to study hard. I'm now interested in being an interpreter. So I think I should study more not only English but also Japanese.

I want to make good friends with people from throughout the world. I have a friend called Katie but we haven't got in touch with each other for a long time. I think I'll write her a letter and revive our relationship again.

[TITLE] How to Live My Life
The presentation by Ms. Lillian Tsuji has remained as a life lesson in my mind. I agree with her opinion. I also think she has a great life because she has overcome lots of problems and has aimed at what she really wants. Moreover, I think it is essential for all people to make their own lives and enjoy themselves. Of course, there are so many troubles and problems around us. However, we can challenge and take opportunities to make progress. Now, I'm at a loss what to do in the future. However, I'm sure that I should make efforts and try everything for my future. Plus, I should have lots of fun.

[TITLE] Taking the Opportunity
I really enjoyed today's lecture too!! Her life was very interesting for me and I thought her message for us was strong. She taught me that we should take the opportunity when we meet a challenge, and make an effort. Her life inspired me and I felt it's a kind of "take the opportunity" that I took this class!! Although I was afraid of taking this class because I'm a Spanish major, I'm sure I was right now.

[TITLE] Today's Presentation
I joined this class for the first time, but I really enjoyed her presentation. Actually, I am interested in an interpreter, because I want to be an interpreter in the future. Ms. Tsuji said that we must try to do something again and again and we must not give up. That was the most impressive thing. On Tuesday, I failed to pass the English exam, pre-1 grade, so I was depressed and got nervous about English. However, I regained my courage and passion towards it. And she also said friends are important. I can understand her opinion because when I was depressed, my friends encouraged me to study English. Thank you!

[TITLE] Where Are There the Opportunities?
I've been wondering where there are the opportunities to improve my skills. But I mustn't just wait for them, I have to get/act. Ms. Tsuji has been making an effort, I think. I should react against my rude attitude. Now, I'm a university student. I have a lot of opportunities to improve my skill. So I should try hard, very hard. I should study English, read a lot of books, meet new people, of course, make new friends. If I stop to act, the opportunities will disappear. These precious 4 years should not be dealt with easily. Anyway, her life does not lose any power or energy. I'd like to lead my life energetically.

[TITLE] It's Difficult to Prepare for My Future
Easy to say, hard to do. When I was in high school, I was always thinking about university. It was my dream to go to a university. I worked hard everyday. And now I became a university student luckily, but I realized the life of university is not what I was thinking about. And now, my dream is joining a good company. When I join a good company, after that, what will I think? It's difficult to prepare for my future.

[TITLE]
The presentation was really great. It motivated me to do something to brush myself up more.

I feel the same way as Ms. Tsuji does. Meeting the challenge and taking the opportunity is essential for us, human beings to be happy with ourselves. Doing these would be hard and tough but afterwards I'm sure we would be satisfied, proud that we at least tried and learned something from the experience. I am also setting every year's goal around this time. It's always fun to decide the goals and imagine the time when I accomplished it.

Thank you very much, Ms. Tsuji. :)

[TITLE] "Meet the Challenges and Take the Opportunities"
Ms. Tsuji's presentation today encouraged me a lot since I'm a pessimistic person all the time. Listening to her speaking, I looked back on myself and realized how many opportunities I had missed in my life. Every time people in my surroundings tell me "Why don't you try this?" I'd say "Well, I'll think about it later." Then nothing happens. This is the fourth and last year of my university days. I learned today (actually, I've already learned this too many times in the past) that it is my responsibility whether I capture a chance or just miss it.
