Thank you for the ingesting lecture today. I learned working at the airport is an interesting and full filling job while also sometimes hard. I was surprised to hear you say that you had experienced a strike in an airport in Rome. I think it's too unusual to happen in Japan and if I were you, I would have been in a panic and couldn't have thought of what to do. However, form listening to your lecture, I found it exiting and meaningful to work with foreign people.

Thank you for giving us such an awesome opportunity to hear your presentation. I am interested in working at an airport in the future, so it was very beneficial for me. I thought your job is very hard, but I felt you enjoyed it so much. I loved your smile while you talk about your experiences. I wanted to know much more about your job. Moreover, I was surprised that there are so many kinds of jobs in the air-post. Thank you for coming today. I had a good time.

Working at an airport sounded brilliant to me. However, I found it is a rather tough job. In her presentation, she told us that the operation staffs have to deal with a huge number of jobs. Marshaling, cleaning, loading and unloading must all be completed quickly and precisely. In addition to this, they need to respond to any unexpected accidents. There is no manual for such accidents, so they must find out what to do by themselves. Thanks to her presentation, I really appreciate their jobs.

Thank you for teaching us about the details of air transport. I used to want to be a pilot because I was crazy about vehicles. But, I changed my dream, now, having found a more suitable job for me. I didn't know there were so many processes involved in air transport. I always complained transportation fee being so high. However, I now understand why. I was able to know, to figure out, why the processes are important rather than just to see them superficially.

Thank you for your great presentation, I was quite impressed with your experiences. I'd like to write about one of them from the two stories. First, you talked about the experience of working as an operation staff in Rome. You also said some local staff cannot speak English, so you had to use many gestures. It is very important for us because we'll have more and more times that we have to use English or effort to communicate with them. Secondary, as for the strike in Rome, you had to decide what to do when local staff had different opinions about the departure. It seemed quite difficult to sum up with every person's input and choose one option. However, we have to do this sort of thing whenever we would work. This attitude is pretty important for me, especially when the time is limited. Finally, I have to think about my attitude and understanding of others. It was quite good timing to hear your presentation.

When I was asked about cross-cultural understanding in the class, I instantly imagined visiting foreign countries or meeting foreign people as the speaker said. So, Miss Misa's experience in Roma was surprising because everybody including the ground staff, cockpit crew, cabin crew and maintenance technicians met each other for the first time, they cooperated for their flight. After hearing that, I realized that language is ultimately unnecessary for cross-cultural communication and above all, sharing the same aim or purpose is essential. Language ability is of course important for communication, but I realized that it is just a tool, I still do not know what the real ability of communication is but I would like to try to find what it is while I study language at university.

I found her job is very stressful and that she has a great deal of responsibility because she prepares for carryings lives many times a day. Maybe unexpected situations would often happen, and she has to responds to all of them, or maybe many people are in a hurry and get irritated. And she has to come up with the best deal for them. That seems very stressful. It's really cool that she responds to them sincerely. When a student asked her how she gets back her motivation, looking at her face, I could understand how much she's been overwhelmed by her job, but I could also understand how devoted and kind she is with her way talking and several shy smiles.

Thank you for your interesting lecture. To tell the truth, never knew about your job. I think it's a really important job and air planes can't fly without the information you share with the pilots. I've always wanted to work at an airport as a ground staff, but after I heard your lecture, it made me think of other ways to work at an airport. Your lecture was a good lesson for me also because you used to be a student at Kendai. It made me believe that I can be like you in the future and go to many countries and experience things that other people can't. I would love to hear more of your stories.

Thank you for giving us a wonderful presentation. I'm so proud of being your junior at this university. I also would like to work in airport, so I learned a lot from your presentation. First, I learned that there are a lot of jobs in airports like the cargo department and operation staff. Before your presentation, I only knew that there are flight attendants and pilots. Second, what I learned from your presentation is that it's really important to think or imagine about another person's background. I think it's difficult to try to do it. Finally, thanks to your presentation, I was encouraged to study hard to become like you. Again, thank you for giving us a great presentation!

Thank you for your presentation. This summer I took a tour of Chubu Central International Airport. So, I saw the runway and the operator center. I felt the heavy tension there. Of course, it is because this place is very important. I'm interested in working in an airport. But, at the same time, I was frightened because I am reminded that there is a lot of responsibility and there is always tension. But today I listened to your stories and how got over them. It was very good studying for me!
