中国 4年[TITLE] The good method of teaching EnglishLooking back on my junior or high school, the impression is that we often translate sentences and read them. I have little time to speak English. When I watched the video about presentations by Mr.Yamamoto's students, I thought that they are vivid and speak fluently with joy. It will help with the presentation upskilling and it is a good method to use English for students. If I can help it, I want to do presentations in English and want to be able to have confidence in my English skills!
英米 4年[TITLE] New Ground for meI am happy now. That's because I heard a really good speech! I was very impressed with his way of integrating the four skills of English. Though if looks so hard to prepare those great materials, students must be able to aquire “actual English communication skills” effectively. If I had studied English under him, I would have been better at English.

I have studied English for 8 years(junior high school, high school and 2years at the university). And the other day, in class we practiced the introduction of ourselves, I didn't understand why we did that. I think we know how to introduce ourselves. At first, When I was asked“Have you ever got any chances to speak English?”I think“No”. But it's a wrong idea. We can listen to a lot of English music, and talk with our friends in English . We can study English everywhere and everytime. We miss the chances ourselves to study English. I think we should be relaxed in regard to studying English.

In my high school days, I was always bored in English class because teachers only read the textbook. So in my experience, the class of English is boring and sleepy. But I watched the video today and I will change my image. Thank you.
フランス 1年[TITLE]I was so surprised at the video because students who are only 1st grade of high school try to speak English fluently and they are very positive to speak English. When we have to speak something in English suddenly, we'll be at a loss about what to do. However if we prepare for speaking, we can talk more fluently, I think Mr.yamamoto taught me the best way to speak another langage as preparation. It included lots of effective elements such as listening, reading, and writing. After that, we can firstly try to put own speaking activity into practice.
国際関係 1年[TITLE]Mr.Yamamoto is a nice person. His pronunciation was easy to hear. So, I understood almost all the lecture. And when I heard about Celine Dion's story, I was encouraged and impressed with the fact that she had studied eight hours a day and continued two months. So, she could speak in English like a native speaker. Thanks to this story, I think I can do it too!! Therefore, I want to find native speakers in this college. And I want to talk with them positively.
フランス 4年[TITLE]What I watched in today's video was totally different from the one I had in senior high school. I wish I could have that kind of attractive lesson when I was younger. Before reading a textbook or sentences, we should be carefully listening and order the story in our minds. That would help us to think something in English and eventually improve our writing or reading. I hope teachers who are supposed to conduct English classes notice that what is important is not only giving moderate lessons but fascinating ones in which students can obtain actual English communication skills.

英文 3年[TITLE]When I watched the video of an English class, I was so surprised because it was so different from my high school class. In my high school, students had to do preparation for lesson. The preparation was translating all the sentences of a chapter. Since we didn't have the knowledge of the theme of the chapter, it was a very hard homework to us. I think your way of teaching is the best way.
英米 1年[TITLE]From his speech, I think pronunciation is very important to improve our English skill. To improve our English skill, it's good to imitate other people who speak their mother tongue. For example, songs are very good. It's because we can acquire English naturally from listening to them. And we should make positive efforts to speak English. Experience is very important. The two students in the video did great activities. The more we speak English, the more we gain confidence in our own ability. I want to enjoy speaking English without being shy.

I want to teach English in a useful and exciting way like Mr.Yamamoto! He said he spent much time to plan and prepare materials for class. I think his efforts make his classes better. He really thinks of his students and classes. I want to be a teacher like him.
英米 4年[TITLE] Imitation is helpfulI wish I had such an interesting English class when I was a junior high school student. The lesson in the video seems to be so much fun and well-prepared. As Mr.Yamamoto mentioned, I think imitation is a great way to improve English speaking skill and pronunciation. I found recently that singers and bandsmen pronounce English well because they imitate English sounds when they sing English songs. During the oral introduction, Mr.Yamamoto made students repeat some key words, and I think that was important. It was a very helpful lecture for those who are hoping to be an English teacher. This, however, gave me some knack of mastering English as well.

My high school's English classes always expected us to translate the sentences and I have been thinking that it is not a good way to teach English. I agree with Mr. Yamamoto's way of teaching English. I also think that listening is an important way to start learning English and start to be interested in English!
国際関係 1年[TITLE] English Lessons Based on the Integration of the Four SkillsI thought that there was little chance to use English in junior and senior high school class when I was a senior high school student. I wanted to speak English more, but in the class, I just learned English for the examinations. I thought the class was not good, but today, I noticed I didn't try to use English actively. I was shy. I should have used English more. I could have, but I didn't. I have a chance now. There are many foreign teachers and friends studying English in this school. So, I'll try to talk with them in English.
