It is difficult to decide between noise and music. I’ve thought the sound in our life is noise, but I noticed it is also music! Noise is umcomfortable for us, so there are many music around us! Music is very close to us, so we don’t notice it. And it makes me fun, excited, sad and relaxed… It has many effect on us. In addition, it takes root in the world and connects the culture. I believe it’s fantastic tool because it can connect the person they are from another country.

Thank you for coming today. I enjoy listening your presentation very much. I like listening music but to my shame I have never considered about music. So, today’s presentation is difficult for me but I can learn about music. Music give us relax, happiness and connection between 2 people. Music is very important for us.

Thank you for coming today, I’m happy to listen to your speech because I’m interested in going overseas but I can’t speak English well.  So, today’s presentation excited me very much.  I have one question.  I want to go overseas but I don’t have enough money.  So I will go there only for a short period.  I want to practice speaking English in Japan.  Can I do it?  Today, I learn many things.  Especially, “Big Old Clock” is fun.  I want to listen to English songs!

I had learned the piano from 5 years old to 18 years old, and I can also play a little now. When I select the tune for a recital, I consider my feeling. Music can express my feeling, and cheer me up. So I can’t live without music. I’ve heard the melody which is made by a student who study music in university before. That was only gathering of sound, and a little strange. But, I learned that music has a lot of form. I want to enjoy music more.

It is very interesting to know about improvisation because I had never thought about it deeply ruther I thought improvisation just lack of seriousness. I was surprised at the idea that improvisation relates to many things in our life. If it is true that we can discover or create something with improvisation, it makes sense me to do something without planning, which was the very new idea for me.

Today’s lecture was very stimulating and I was able to learn music and improvisation deeply. At first, I thought improvisation was difficult to do for people who couldn’t play the instruments, but I found it was not just music terminology, but also it could’ be applied to our life. And, the word of his “Instrument is two our ears” was very impressive.

The music which I listen usually is composed by composer. However, the music which I listened today was very free. And it sounds interesting. Sometimes the improvisation music is able to listen as normal composed music, and sometimes it is able to listen as crazy music. Both are great! Music is free!

Thank you for coming today and the lecture of music and improvisation was really interesting for me. I don’t play any instruments, but I love music, composed music. I heard improvisation for the first time with recognition. I’m still beginner about the improvisation, so I don’t like music with too much improvisation like second music that we listened during the lecture. It was too agressive for me. However I wonder how it would be if I could understand improvisation. I could think about so many things from your lecture. Thank you.

Thank you for today’s lecture. I love music especially classical. So the lecture today was really interesting. I used to play the strings. I sometimes did improvisation, when I played it. It was easy for me to understand what the improvisation is, I don’t like the music which contains a lot of improvisation actually. However I learned a lot of from the lecture today.

When people get frustrated or wants an output for their feelings or emotions, it is common to listen to music. Today I learned a new way to output how I feel. I think we should create our own improvisation. Until this day I have spent many hours online looking for songs that match my emotion. The answer was always right there. I don’t need to search other’s work to match how I feel, I can create my own. This is what I have learned during this lecture. Recently, I have been facing a crisis within myself, and I am very worried I twstrated etc… A lot of weight has been lifted off my shoulders during this lecture. Thank you.
