Toyota is a Japanese company but I didn’t know so much about it.  I am proud that Toyota is a Japanese company.  I was surprised that Toyota’s market value is the same as sum of GM, VW and the other some companies put together.  I have heard that Toyota companies make not only automobiles but also clothes, and so on.  I think it is very difficult to manage companies, because people have to develop a strategy about supply-chain.  Also the problems which influence business appear constantly like flood, earthquake, Lehman shock, etc.

Toyota is the biggest car company in Japan.  Today’s lecture told us many things that I didn’t know about Toyota.  I thought that Toyota didn’t have so many difficulties, but today I learned Toyota had many difficulties to be No.1 car company of Japan.  Especially, I am surprised at Toyota’s recall story.  Loss of 8 million vehicles might be the biggest difficulty.  I am proud of Toyota as Japanese No.1 company.

Actually, today’s class was very difficult for me to understand.  But, it was interesting because I’ve never thought about why Toyota is so special all over the world.  Mr. McCombs told us that “supply chain” is important.  As we know, Toyota has a lot of their companies around the world.  But when Lehman shock, 3.11(earthquake) and Bangkok flood happened, they affected to yen.  It Toyota had the companies only in Japan, we don’t have to worry about the effection yen, but maybe it’ll cost much higher.  I have no idea how to solve the problem.  Through the class, I thought I should be more interested in Toyota because all Japanese can be proud of it as a world-famous company.

I think Toyota had had some big problems of economy for a long time, but now it has been the main company among the companies which make many cars.  Toyota’s cars are very good all over the world.  This is because Toyota has made an effort to satisfy many people who drive the cars.  I’m proud that I live in Toyota, which is the town where Toyota company is located.

Toyota always wins a battle to increase his share of the market.  But almost all the proceeds are from Hybrid cars.  In Japan, there are many car makers and there are so many kinds of cars, but famous Japanese car in the world is only Hybrid cars.  Is Toyota the biggest car maker in the world?  Maybe its not.  But they became very famous by only one kind of car.

Today’s topic was about Toyota.  I was interested in this.  Toyota is one of the most famous companies in the world.  It’s a pride of Japan, I think.  Today，I learned that Toyota has big influence on the world.  “Kaizen” was such an impressive word.  It seems that Kaizen is one of the Toyota’s basic concepts.  Today，I couldn’t understand two words, the killer yen and strong yen, so I will check them up.

I don’t know much about economy, but Toyota is really familiar to us and I enjoyed today’s lecture so much.  And my grandfather worked at Toyota though I don’t know about the details of the company, so I’d like to tell him about this lecture.  He’ll be interested ! and I’m proud of Japanese car industry such as Toyota so that many foreign car companies imitate so many things.  Thank you for the really interesting lecture.

Thank you for the lecture today.  I haven’t actually heard about Toyota’s background or things like that.  I was very interested in such stuff.  I was surprised with the number of market value.  However the number of the cars are the same between Toyota and VW, market value was way different.  I still remember the recall in the U.S a few years ago, but I can’t believe Toyota is doing well even though they recalled 8 million cars.  It was a pretty difficult lecture but I liked it.

Toyota is a big company.  Toyota’s cars are exported to countries all over the world, so market value ＄200 billion.  However, unintended acceleration: Biggest recall ever.  Toyota suffered the loss of 8 million vehicles.  In addition, March11.2011 “Lehman shock” happened.  This was the biggest hit of all.  I think that Toyota is a very strong company, because Toyota cars deal with accidents and Toyota never forget “Kaizen”.  It’s the key to the fact that Toyota is called a “worldwide company”

Toyota is one of the big companies in Japan and has a big influence, so it is supporting Japanese economy.  There are some big car companies in the world but they studied Toyota system.  I was surprised when I heard it.  I felt I should learn more about Japanese economies to understand Japanese business or companies deeply.
