Today, thank you for telling us a lot of things.   I really enjoyed.   Especially, I was interested in the difference between Western and Asian.   Those figures were very unique and made me laugh.   Also I was interested in Australia.   Someday I want to visit.

Today, English is one of the most important languages.   Japanese people should learn English in life, because now we learn English as a tool for tests in school.   So most of us can’t speak.   I think Japanese character(shyness) help it to became a problem.   I want to learn how we can use English which we have studied in school and in this university.

I’ve never had such a good opportunity.   I’m really looking forward to listening to presentations of many people.   I went to see the Great Barrier Reef 3 years ago! I’d like to see the Ayers Rock.   I was surprised about the size of Australia.

From last year, I wanted to come to this class and then today’s class was very very interesting.   I got many knowledge of Australia and I could listen to your English.   After I listened to this class, I came to want to go to Australia to see Ayers Rock and many places.   There were many things that I didn’t know, so I’m glad to know them.   Thank you very much.   And I think that I should learn English more.

Today was the first class of this course.   We learned about this course, and I got really interested. Listening to stories by people from outside of our university would be exciting.   I also thought that Australia’s a very nice place again so I hope to visit there someday.

I’m surprised at English studies in China.   Now, English studies is important all over the world.   I think that Japanese people take a passive attitude toward English studies, so I was deeply impressed by a positive attitude of Chinese people.

Even being in the Department of British and American Studies, it’s not common to have the lectures in English from the beginning to end.   It was fun listening to facts about the English language and Australia, where Brett comes from.   I’m excited to have different speakers come and talk to us.   Being a “half” myself, it was interesting watching the differences in the culture and understanding them.   It made me realize how shallow my perspective on the world was.   I’d like to spread my knowledge and become a better “global citizen” through these lectures.   Thank you.

I thought I want to develop English ability by taking this class.   I’m I’ll go to Australia while I am a university student, so I’m interested in today’s lecture.   I’m looking forward to meeting a lot of people and learning various things.   I’ll do my best to use English as a communication tool.

I’m really excited to listen to this lecture for the next 14 weeks.   I want to visit Australia very much! It impressed me so much.   About the beautiful ocean and wonderful night view, I want to see with my own eyes.   Brett’s talk made my emotional for studying English so well.
