TITLE : Don't hesitate to speak English!
Thank you for your wonderful lecture. When I saw many pictures, I thought I want to go abroad many times and when I listened to today's lecture, I thought once more that studying abroad is a good experience. Because I will speak English fluently, learn about this country, and know about lifestyle of this country. Studying abroad gives me a lot of knowledge. However, I knew there are various kinds of English in London. So it is difficult for me to listen to and understand English with the Cockney accent and Welsh pronunciation. But to become a good listener, I need to listen to it repeatedly. So I think it is important to get into the habit of studying English every day. To improve English skill, I need to make the chance to speak English many times. I try to challenge various things.

I really love British accents. They're cool but I didn't know there are many dialects in Britain, especially Wales. I feel like it is another European country's language. So surprising! I wish I could speak British English.

I think your lecture was very very interesting and I'm interested in it very much, because I also want to study English in Britain (London). I learned that in Britain (UK) they have many types of English and it is very hard to hear it, so I began to worry about it. I think there are many troubles during my studying abroad. However, I'll try to keep enjoying speaking English and learning a lot of things! I'm looking forward to going to Britain! Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for your presentation. Your experience in Britain was really wonderful and pleasant. You experienced many things which made you not only happy but also sad. There were some troubles, but maybe all of them had an effect on you. I also want to study abroad too! I think I can't learn enough how to pronounce English correctly. When I went to America, I was very confused because my pronunciation of “water” couldn't be understood by a store clerk. So I want to learn English abroad. Your attitude towards English is wonderful! I respect you.

TITLE
A great presentation about English and his interesting experiences. I didn't know there are many different languages such as Welsh, Scottish, Manx, Irish, etc. I was surprised that those languages are also difficult to pronounce. In the UK students have to study Welsh for three years because it is a compulsory subject. This thing is very similar to my country, Indonesia. We have to study Javanese and Sundanese (ethnic languages) beside our mother language, Indonesia. I think this school policy is good to keep our originality in language diversity.

TITLE : My Language Experience in Britain troubles and findings.
The topic of “Why we should learn English?” was very interesting to me. In my opinion, the reason why we learn English is to make my world wider. It must be boring if only I spend all my life in Japan. Communicating with many different people always teaches me a lot of things like some good points of other countries and also those of Japan. I like using English, so I will keep practicing English all my life.

TITLE : Experience in Britain troubles and findings
“Change mind” was impressive word for today. I also did change my mind and decided to study in University after working at a company. I chose to work, because I believed it is more useful for my life. But after I studied in Spain, I found that life is more beautiful and I should enjoy it to be more happy. Also my German friend always tells me to get my chance to improve myself. So, I'm here to meet people and new knowledge and more. The world is really big, so I never stop finding something new.

The president of our university is wonderful. I didn't know him very well. Today, I learn many things from him. I like English and I want to be good at English. However, I hesitate to speak English and I don't have the courage. His presentation has encouraged me. I'll try to speak English positively. I'm interested in various kinds of English in London. I want to learn more about them.

TITLE
It was a great pleasure for me to have Prof. Sasaki's lecture. Today, I could see one side of his experience abroad. It was really fascinating, especially as to various kinds of English, and concrete instances of unpredictable happenings and on interpreting meanings. Having a small lesson about accents, I was very surprised there are many more differences between accents, even just within Britain. I was encouraged to speak foreign languages boldly, even if I'm poor at it. Through today's lecture, I could expand my perspectives and know diversity. Thanks so much.

Thank you for your lecture today. I'm very interested in the U.K. So I'm very happy to hear his lecture. His talk will be good for me because I'm going to go to England to study while a student. I like London best in England. I think London is full of lovely things. By listening to his lecture, I understood that when living in foreign countries we are confronted with a lot of problems, but I think it is important for me to solve these problems as hard as I can. His talk inspired me to study English harder. I want to hold out to syudy English and not to hesitate to speak English. Finally, I was surprised that he can speak Welsh!

Today's speech was very interesting because I also studied abroad and had on experience like Prof. Sasaki's situation. When I studied abroad in Germany, I lived with two German boys and a Vietnamese girl. At first, I couldn't understand her English because of her accent. At that time, I thought, I should know and listen to the dialects of English. After all, I used my electronic dictionary, when I talked to her. But gradually I could heard her dialects of English. Now I think we need to try to listen to a conversational partner in globalization, and try to tell your partner, I can't speak English well, but I always try to tell my feelings. This is my main concern in communication.
